Greetings Sports Coordinators from our Walnut Hills feeder schools,
Last year, thanks largely to your help, we introduced the sport of lacrosse to over 100 boys and girls from Kilgour, Hyde Park School, Fairview, Pleasant Ridge and Sands.
This Spring over 20 lacrosse players who played last year as 6th graders will join the Walnut Hills Middle School Lacrosse teams as 7th graders.
For those of you who don’t recall, Eagles Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit lacrosse club started by members of the Walnut Hills High School Lacrosse coaching staffs to introduce the game of lacrosse to elementary school age students prior to their matriculation to Walnut Hills.
In our inaugural season we fielded 4 teams (Boys 3/4 Grade, Girls 3/4 Grade, Boys 5/6 Grade, Girls 5/6 Grade) each of which enjoyed competitive success. Word has started to get around and Eagle Lacrosse has generated a lot of buzz as we look to our Spring 2018 season. We don’t want your school to miss out on the opportunity.
Our registration period for the Spring 2018 season is now open and we need your help once again to get the word out. I’ve attached a .pdf version of our 2018 flyer in hopes that, similar to last year, you can distribute it via your electronic school newsletters and email lists. While we are considering the need to expand the program, space will still be limited. The deadline for registration is December 15. The link to register is here.
We’re happy to answer any questions directly at this email or redirect the flyer to the appropriate persons. Just let us know. Thank you once again for your help!
