The core Garden Program team has been busy meeting with teachers, Mrs. Lord and Mr. Bob to assess next steps for the Garden Program. This is the most exciting time in Garden Program history to get involved. We have positive momentum and many opportunities to take the program to the next level.

On Saturday, February 20, the Garden Program will hold a 60-minute meeting to provide a recap of 2015 and share plans for 2016. They are seeking input, volunteers and new committee members.

Specific volunteer opportunities include:

• Volunteer Lead: Coordinate all volunteers
• Resource Lead: Coordinate all grants, donations and resources
• Teacher Assistant Volunteers: One person needed for each of the participating classrooms. Participating teachers are:
  • 3-6: Mitza Costantini, Kathy Yunker, Laura Morgan and Maura O’Keefe
  • 6-9: Kelli Jasper, Pam Schall / Priscilla Elgersma
  • 9-12: Cindy Stevens, Tiffany Rebich
