Students, parents, and teachers worked every week this summer to improve the outdoor campus at Sands. They watered 50 trees throughout the hot, dry summer. They painted new features on the blacktop. They built picnic tables for the outdoor classroom. They sawed, rolled, cut, dug, and shoveled their way to giving the children the first phase of the natural playscape.
